CAA Airport and Airline Charges
Skylark was engaged by the CAA as part of the 7th quinquennial regulatory review H7 to provide insight into the comparability of London Heathrow’s airport charges to other international hubs, mid-sized European, and other UK airports.
Skylark also investigated the potential impact of an increase in Heathrow Airport’s charges on airline economics and route profitability.
Skylark’s tasks included:
Extensive analysis of current, historical, and future airport charges at London Heathrow and various comparator airports
Review of the profitability of numerous short and long haul routes from London Heathrow
Assessment of current regulatory climate regarding airport charges
