Skylark consultants advised the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Department of Civil Aviation on the financial feasibility of proposed capital expenditures to expand and improve the passenger terminal at Bahrain International Airport (“BAH”). Services included:
Evaluated the fleet and network plans of flag carrier Gulf Air as well as other airlines serving or likely to serve BAH
Modelled the relationship between economic activity in Bahrain and the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia that is accessible by causeway and origin and destination traffic at BAH
Modelled the relationship between economic activity in Southwest Asia and Europe and connecting traffic at BAH
Developed scenarios of aeronautical and non-aeronautical revenue development, operating cost efficiencies, and capital expenditure plans
Produced annual forecasts of passengers, cargo, aircraft operations, and landed weight
Produced and populated a financial model for the airport.
