Christopher van Rÿswÿck
Commercial expert
Chris has over 18 years of airport commercial experience. He began his airport career in 2006 with BAA (formerly known as British Airports Authority), for which he spent nearly 8 years as the Commercial Manager for Gatwick Airport in London. From here, he gained further experience leading the transport division of a consultancy firm, working on 61 airports in 28 countries around the world, ranging from small regional to some of the largest global hub airports in the world.
His direct airport familiarity gives him a detailed understanding of the nuances of retailing in an airport environment, as well as insight into how non-commercial functions can influence the performance of the commercial ecosystem.
